Hi, again! This is the Rock music section. Here's some considerations I had while writing this page:

My criteria it's a weird balance between my own emotional response and it's artistic merits. For example, If a certain record was ahead of its time, I would probably rank it higher than a record I love to listen often but haves no innovations. Often, a high score also speaks of how familiarized I'm it with that record.

I don't make genre distinctions between types of rock music. For me, rock is any music that comunicate ideas, convey emotions or show sonic experiments. That includes all sort of music, from pop to powerviolence.

I think that a great EP it's better than a great Single, and so on. Don't think a 9/10 single have more artistic merits than, let's say, Blonde on Blonde. Nonetheless, I think that a band/artist can be incompetent at making a good LP while making some amazing music in other formats; that's why there's a Single/Ep category in each page, and not just LP.

I do this just for fun, and because I love music. You shouldn't listen to a thing I say so seriously.

*As 2024, I just started the 60s period. Most of the other decades might be incomplete. While I'm aquainted with a lot of those periods music, I want to start from zero.
