On Temptation

  • There's nothing in this world, worst than to have a current desire obsticulized by a current obligation. There's something about not being able to follow your natural pulsion that's just the closest thing to a buzzy bee in a library. It keeps your mind in a obstuse and unfocused state, thus affects your productivity, and makes the fine line between what you desire and what you don't quite blury: ¿why I am studying? ¿why I am reading this book? ¿why i am doing something else than laying on the couch?.

  • That being said, i think I might be lying to you If i told you that that's, actually, the most boring thing ever. There's in fact something worse: To have all the time of the day to do what you want. It feels even worse to don't have something to elude, It makes mundane pleasures way more boring that they seem. Maybe, In fact they are.

  • It seems like we like to be tempted more than anything else.
